新北市近來因缺水對民眾生活造成不便，適逢玄天上帝聖誕千秋將至，新北市長朱立倫於昨（十七）日上午先後至淡水區竹林慈玄宮及八里區紫皇天乙真慶宮參拜祈福，除了祈求天降甘霖以解新北市民用水之苦，更期勉大家一起「說好話、做好事、存好心」。
朱市長表示，慈玄宮及真慶宮是新北市淡水區及八里區相當重要的信仰中心，最近石門水庫嚴重缺水對新北市民眾的生活影響甚鉅，期盼在玄天上帝的庇佑之下，台灣可以風調雨順，並保佑新北市四百萬市民都能平安順利、健康快樂。
